**Job Title:** Import Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to handle importation of chemicals. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in chemical importation, with a strong understanding of hazardous cargo and compliance regulations.

  • Responsible for pre- and post-documentation, including preparing export invoices, packing lists, and other related documents.
  • Generating insurance certificates through online portals and ensuring sufficient insured amounts are maintained.
  • Knowledge of handling hazardous cargo, including understanding Haz Class, Packing Groups, and preparing Dangerous Goods Declarations.
  • Communicate and coordinate with factories, CHAs, forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, and customers.
  • Negotiate air or sea freight rates with forwarders, shipping lines, or CHAs.
  • Check and approve SB Checklists, BOE Checklists, AWB Drafts, and BL Drafts.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders for flight and vessel bookings.
  • Arrange courier shipments through DHL or FedEx.
  • Understand Letter of Credit (LC) Shipments.
  • Ensure regular review and understanding of SCOMET and Narcotics requirements for every shipment.
  • Resolve queries from export customers promptly and efficiently.
  • Arrange transport for FCL shipments and factory stuffing.
  • Apply for Preferential and Non-preferential COOs online.
  • Ability to handle multiple shipments efficiently.
  • Sending final shipment documents to customers and tracking cargo till delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records for all export shipments, including EGM and RODTEP benefit status.
  • Knowledge of RODTEP Scrip generation and other DGFT/ICEGATE applications.
  • Arrange relevant packing considering shipment nature, especially for dangerous goods.
  • Ensure import/export regulation compliance, including HS codes, tariffs, and taxes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including import data and compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for alignment and efficiency.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
