Senior Data Protection Specialist

As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's privacy compliance efforts. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough privacy impact assessments, advising on data handling practices, and leading audits to ensure adherence to relevant privacy frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Privacy & Data Protection Expertise:
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate privacy requirements seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects, products, and data processing activities.
Data Security & Privacy Technology:
- Evaluate existing technical and organizational security controls to identify potential vulnerabilities that could impact personal data.
- Advise on and implement technical controls such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions and data masking techniques to enhance data privacy and security.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 6-9 years of overall experience in a privacy, compliance, or information security role.
- Expertise:
- Proven track record of working as a Privacy Specialist, Privacy Engineer, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with common privacy tools and platforms is essential.
