Research Associate Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team and contribute to policy research, data analysis, and economic strategy design. This role will play a key part in providing research-backed policy inputs for development agendas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct applied research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyse large datasets and apply econometric/statistical techniques for policy insights.
  • Draft policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders.
  • Support project design, proposal development, research project management, and internal capability building.
Qualification & Experience:
  • Master's, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and independently manage research projects.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Master's, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required. The candidate should also have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
