Senior Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and development of large-scale data systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience working with AWS services, Python, and Pyspark. They will also have knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using AWS services and Python.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data lakes, processing tools, and BI and reporting tools.
  • Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and deploy data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with AWS services and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data.
  • Experience working with ETL, data mining, Data Warehousing, and segmentation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills and quick grasp of complex technical concepts.
  • Independent way of working with high proactivity, excellent written, verbal, communication, and ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
