Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing big data pipelines using Apache Spark and Databricks.
  • Building complex data transformations using SQL/Spark and executing in-depth analysis.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design implementation plans.
  • Providing support for global users and liaising with dedicated support staff and other development teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field (computer science, mathematics, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience as a data engineer in Big Data.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python / Scala) and Big Data technologies (Apache Spark, Databricks or equivalent).
  • Experience in executing in-depth analysis and running complex SQL/Spark queries.
  • Good understanding and experience with Agile methodologies and delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills.
