Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our Business Unit Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Goldman Sachs' enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML), economic Sanctions and Anti-Bribery Compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Business Personnel, Compliance Officers, and Compliance Engineering to develop and/or enhance system controls, surveillances, best practices and associated policies, procedures and training.
  • Participate in global Compliance projects & initiatives driven by compliance or business requirements that help mitigate risk.
  • Support responses to regulatory and internal reviews and audits.
  • Apply a consistent approach across businesses, products and regions.
  • Develop and/or enhance systematic processes for escalating issues.
  • Coordinate issues, findings and practices with colleagues across regions and/or divisions and bring them to conclusion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Working knowledge of different financial products
  • Inquisitive and proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented.
  • Ability to work with a variety of senior and junior people and build smooth working relationships.
  • Highest attention to detail.
  • Good team player - one who is able to prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks independently and work under tight deadlines.
  • MS Office proficiency: advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel is preferred
  • Proficiency in data analytics platforms (., Python, Alteryx) and data visualization and reporting tools (., Tableau)
