Are you passionate about creating a positive impact in the lives of others? Do you have a strong desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst Associate to join our team at Empower Retirement.

As a Compliance Analyst Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing various sets of data, performing non-discrimination testing, generating Form 5500s, and conducting plan audits. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and addressing any compliance issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in any stream, with a Law degree being an added advantage. You will also have 2-3 years of experience in a financial domain, preferably in the US retirement industry. Your strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively collaborate with internal partners and external vendors. Proactivity, self-motivation, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory and compliance developments through continuous self-learning.
  • Understand operational standards, SLAs, and ensure all standards are met.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new requirements and implementing changes as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any stream.
  • Law degree as an added advantage.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a financial domain.
  • US retirement industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
  • This role requires regular concentration, talking, and hearing.
