Civil 3D BIM Project Manager

As a Senior Civil 3D BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various projects from different regions. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely completion of these projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the BIM Manager to deliver exceptional results on Civil 3D projects, providing technical expertise and guidance when needed.
  • Work independently, making strategic decisions for US, UK & Asia-specific projects, ensuring they meet local regulations and standards.
  • Oversee Landscape, Dry & Wet Utilities, Grading, Highway Modelling, and Plantation projects, guaranteeing seamless integration and clash-free designs.
  • Prepare coordinated shop drawings and as-built drawings, utilizing your knowledge of IFC drawings and COBie data exchange.
  • Develop earthwork grading cut & fill analysis, cross sections, and quantity take-offs, leveraging your expertise in Navisworks Manage.
  • Facilitate collaboration among multiple disciplines using Navisworks for clash detection and resolution, ensuring smooth workflow and communication among team members.
  • Manage the BIM construction process from DD stage to As-Built stage, overseeing every aspect of project development.
  • Assist with estimation tasks and lead a small team, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • Integrate iPad/AM data exchange and generate COBie data, ensuring seamless data transfer and management.
  • Collaborate with design teams and clients to actively solve problems, leveraging your excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • Ensure project timelines are met, working efficiently under pressure, and maintaining a positive, responsible, and professional attitude, open to challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, Subassembly Composer & Part-Builder, with strong skills in AutoCAD for drawing, linkage, and cleanup.
  • Familiarity with Design Review for collaboration with professional staff, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
  • Expertise in Navisworks Manage for clash detection & resolution, with knowledge of submittals and Civil 3D workflows.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and design teams.
  • Leadership capability with strong problem-solving skills, able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
