Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures for our digital transformation and IT modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with GCP, a deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
  • Design multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity.
  • Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure robust cloud governance and security compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
  • Keep up to date with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with GCP – at least 2 of these at an expert level.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies, workload assessments, and re-architecting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are preferred.
