Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in large-scale distributed system development, including hands-on operational expertise. They should be well-versed in building scalable, high-performance services and APIs using modern architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, high-scale services
  • Collaborate with product management to envision future features and plan product roadmaps
  • Define solution architectures that align with business objectives
  • Lead technical architecture and design efforts, advocating for strategic technology investments
  • Ensure high-quality, secure, and observable solutions
  • Participate in design reviews, provide regular feedback, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of technical leadership experience in software engineering
  • 5-10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development, including operational expertise
  • Proven track record of driving engineering best practices for high-functioning teams
  • Possession of skills in building large-scale back-end services and APIs, using modern architectures
  • Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms
  • A strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern infrastructure operations
  • Ability to build generic, reusable solutions
  • Experience mentoring and training engineering communities on development best practices
  • Familiarity with deployment and observability strategies supporting continuous delivery and high availability in cloud-native environments
  • An outcome-oriented approach using metrics and data to understand development productivity
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative, and organizational skills

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft technologies: C#, TypeScript & NestJS, Node.js
  • Microservices, event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or other event processing services
  • Modern UI frameworks: React.js, Angular
  • Cloud platforms (AWS preferred): EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, VPC
  • CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, YAML, PowerShell
  • GenAI technologies: LLM fine-tuning, RAG architecture implementation, prompt engineering
  • Relational and NoSQL databases
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • Observability tools: Splunk, ELK Stack, DataDog
  • Automated software testing: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow, Artillery
