About the Role

As an IT Asset and ESG Consultant at Orange Business Services, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of software and hardware purchased by the entity for new projects and existing install base. This includes licenses, support, SaaS, and professional services. You will contribute to the evolution of software policy and licenses management, ensuring alignment with the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory of software and hardware, including licenses, support, SaaS, and professional services.
  • Contribute to the evolution of software policy and licenses management.
  • Coordinate different projects in parallel, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Manage the process of equipment reuse, including identifying vendors, testing solutions, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Manage the industrialization of equipment reuse, including identifying financial and legal processes, testing, and implementing reuse steps.
  • Manage the evolution of ordering tools to maximize orders of refurbished equipment and audit the process after three months.
  • Perform regular audits on use and not-used equipment to optimize consumption.
  • Follow up on equipment CO2 footprint, analyzing and regularly completing the inventory.
  • Contribute to various ESG and circular economy governance initiatives.
  • Proactively propose new solutions for improving the circular economy roadmap.
  • Manage and maintain Orange inventories for customer-supported equipment, ensuring consistency with vendor inventories and resolving gaps.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure awareness of vendor interlock workflows, provide training or coaching, and identify process improvements areas.
  • Process all requests for additions or removals of assets from support inventories and databases.
  • Periodically review pricing, support, and service level agreements with vendors, in coordination with sourcing and procurement.
  • Manage End of Service Life (EOSL) by identifying equipment and licenses that will reach EOSL and executing an action plan.
  • Communicate regularly on usage according to SW/HW vendors contracts, sending warnings for discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventories to identify discrepancies.
  • Understand, prepare, and present annual budgets.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Asset and ESG Consultant with 6-10 years of experience in IT Asset management and ESG topics. You should have a keen interest in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and advanced knowledge of IT Asset management, including infrastructure like systems, storage, and licenses. ITIL and HAM/SAM certifications are preferred. You must have strong communication skills, be autonomous, and have good organization and coordination skills. You should also have good project management skills, including initialization and framing of projects, identification of stakeholders, and working closely with different teams.
