Job Overview

The main objective of this position is to maintain, implement and administer secure, robust, stable and redundant Voice and Video infrastructure.

This includes proposing the latest technologies and innovation in Voice and VC domain, supporting business as usual (BAU) team for critical incidents or tasks, and interacting with architecture team for designing IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform IP Telephony L1 & L2 tasks (Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Unified Contact Center Express, Voice Gateways)
  • Manage Oracle Session Border Controller, Kurmi, Clobba (Codesoft) experience
  • Troubleshoot and escalate Voice incidents to Level 3
  • Manage audiovisual (AV) tickets, troubleshoot, fix and replace Video Conferencing units, projectors and various AV equipment
  • Operate Crestron CP4 & other devices, Kramer, QSC Amplifier, Shure microphones
  • Support BAU operations in Voice Domain
  • Coordinate AV / VC Setup and vendor support for necessary resolution
  • Support third-party applications like Digital Signage, Imagicle, Wallboard in Voice Domain
  • Perform root cause analysis for technical issues and establish recovery and prevention processes
  • Obsolesce Management and follow necessary Process to strengthen Infrastructure
  • Vulnerability Management and finding remediation
  • Coordinate with onshore teams and interface with vendors and partners for issue resolution
  • Assist Team Leads/Delivery Manager in maintaining Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence
  • Propose solution alternatives and provide impact analysis for technical changes
  • Translate high-level objectives into low-level work modules and tasks
  • Perform requirements gathering and design
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Change Management

Additional Responsibilities

  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operational Procedures (OPC) and other business supporting documentation
  • Knowledge on Traffic analysis tools: Solarwinds, Netflow, and Wireshark

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years' experience covering Cisco Voice technologies, AV devices and/or Oracle Session Border Controller
  • Working experience on Cisco IP Telephony, Call Manager, Unity, Voice gateways, PRI connectivity, Cisco Video Conferencing
  • Strong knowledge of SIP
  • Good knowledge Video endpoints (Cisco kit, Room Bar, etc)
  • Knowledge of IPC Unigy, Verba and Nice NTR recording
  • Technical knowledge of Network and Telecom infrastructure
  • Knowledge on Traffic analysis tools: Solarwinds, Netflow, and Wireshark
