Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent IT asset professional to oversee the management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the IT Asset Management database (CMDB) for hardware, software, and peripheral assets, guaranteeing data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support asset tracking and reconciliation activities across multiple locations, facilitating smooth operations and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with procurement for asset requisitions, disposals, and vendor-related documentation, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assist with hardware/software onboarding, tagging, deployment, and recovery, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Investigate and resolve asset-related incidents or discrepancies, employing analytical skills and technical knowledge.
  • Conduct periodic audits of asset inventory to ensure compliance and accuracy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Work with finance and operations teams for cost tracking, depreciation, and budgeting, promoting fiscal responsibility and strategic planning.
  • Help configure and operate ITAM tools, leveraging expertise and best practices to optimize system performance.
  • Escalate issues to L3 ITAM or Infrastructure Teams as needed, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in ITAM platforms and CMDB tools, demonstrating advanced technical skills and adaptability.
  • Solid understanding of hardware and software asset lifecycles, applying theoretical knowledge and real-world experience.
  • Awareness of ITIL practices, particularly around Asset and Configuration Management, showcasing commitment to industry standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor coordination, navigating complex relationships and negotiations.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, resolving common issues and improving overall system reliability.
