Senior Product Engineering Manager Role

About the Job:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Engineer to lead our product engineering teams. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior leaders, product managers, developers, and quality analysts to establish a robust product engineering process.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on and able to take charge of end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with strategy, product, and business teams to create a product roadmap and drive execution.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy the right tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to help product engineers work faster and solve technology problems more effectively.
  • Own all non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  • Responsible for product development (full stack) and release, including architecture, design, development, and testing within agreed time frames.
  • Adapt and iterate quickly based on user and business feedback and metrics.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in product development management would be highly desirable.
  • Adept at using Agile software development and management methods, such as iterative development, continuous integration, shared ownership.
  • Familiar with service-oriented architecture and have built and deployed RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Hands-on and confident with Typescript, JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular, Node.js.
  • Well-versed in observability tools to identify and isolate problems.
  • Passionate about working together with a team to solve customer problems.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
