Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AS400 Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications using the IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming language.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and debug RPG/CL programs, including Sub-procedures, Subroutines, and Service Programs.
  • Develop and implement solutions using Integrated Language Environment (ILE).
  • Maintain and improve existing applications using SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Work with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) to manage data and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Identify and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • Extensive knowledge of Integrated Language Environment (ILE).
  • Familiarity with SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team from anywhere.

Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Leadership skills to guide junior developers.
