Last Mile Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee end-to-end last mile delivery operations within our logistics hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Last Mile Operations:
  • Ensure timely deliveries and optimized routes across the city and nearby areas.
  • 2. Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of experienced delivery professionals to achieve high performance standards.
  • 3. Cash Handling & Reconciliation:
  • Oversee cash handling operations, ensuring daily reconciliation of cash collected during deliveries.
  • 4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track, monitor, and report on key metrics such as daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance, return to origin (RTO), and other KPIs.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, specifically in last-mile delivery operations.
  • Prior experience in managing teams and cash reconciliation is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of routes within the city and nearby areas.
  • Hands-on experience with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of logistics metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with additional skills in route optimization software and data analysis will be highly regarded.
