Senior Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our cybersecurity initiatives as a Senior Security Consultant.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute comprehensive security projects, including risk assessments, gap analysis, and compliance checks, to ensure seamless implementation of ISO 27001 standards.
  • Drive the implementation of NIST cybersecurity frameworks for clients across various industries, ensuring robust security measures in place.
  • Provide strategic guidance on security best practices, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives, promoting a culture of security awareness and resilience.
  • Perform internal audits and prepare clients for certification audits in alignment with ISO standards, ensuring continuity and consistency.
  • Create and maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation, supporting continual improvement processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end client engagements, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional results.
  • Mentor and lead a team of junior consultants, reviewing deliverables and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Conduct security awareness sessions, training, and workshops for clients and internal stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay updated on evolving threats, industry standards, and compliance regulations, ensuring proactive approaches to security challenges.
  • Travel and work at client premises as required, adapting to diverse environments and situations.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in Information Security consulting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven experience with ISO 27001 implementation & auditing, demonstrating expertise in security management systems.
  • Experience in NIST framework implementation and controls assessment, showcasing ability to drive security excellence.
  • Auditing cloud environments across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring secure deployment and operation.
  • Strong understanding of GRC practices and cybersecurity principles, promoting a culture of security and compliance.
  • ISO 27001:2013/2022 Lead Auditor Certification is mandatory, demonstrating commitment to security excellence.
  • Prior team management or leadership experience is required, showcasing ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements, adapting to diverse priorities and deadlines.
  • Exposure to other frameworks and standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS is a plus, showcasing breadth of expertise.
  • Experience working with clients from BFSI, IT/ITES, or Healthcare sectors, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
