Job Title: Dean of Training and Education

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dean of Training and Education to lead our training programs and ensure they align with industry standards and the institution's educational goals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders, and evaluating program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Development and Management:
  • Comprehensive Program Design: Develop and implement training programs that meet industry standards and address current skill gaps, ensuring alignment with the institution's educational objectives and industry requirements.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Oversee the implementation of training programs, evaluating their effectiveness and updating materials and methods regularly to ensure they reflect the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
Industry Collaboration:
  • Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Analyze market trends and industry needs to inform the development of training programs, ensuring they remain relevant and valuable.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, employers, and professional organizations to facilitate partnerships and collaborations that enhance program effectiveness.
Student Assessment and Feedback:
  • Assessment Tools Development: Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress and skill acquisition, providing constructive feedback and support to students to help them meet their career goals and improve their skills.
Curriculum Integration:
  • Curriculum Development: Integrate training programs into the existing curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience that complements and enhances overall academic offerings.
Administrative Duties:
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget for training programs, allocating resources and making financial decisions to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and documentation on program performance, student outcomes, and industry trends for internal and external stakeholders.
Professional Development:
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in training and education, attending conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to enhance expertise.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree or higher in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs, preferably in an academic or professional setting.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry trends and skill requirements across various sectors.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation Experience: Experience in student assessment and program evaluation.
  • Collaboration and Partnership Building: Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and industry partners.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
