About the Role

We are seeking an Industrial Automation Specialist to lead our efforts in designing and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions for manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, experience with Ignition SCADA, and a proven track record of successful OT/IT integration projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions using Ignition SCADA and MES applications.
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems, PLC, SCADA, MES with enterprise IT systems, ERP databases, cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in industrial automation, including Ignition SCADA, Inductive Automation, and scripting module configuration.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies, including REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards, ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
