We are seeking a seasoned medical coding professional to assume a leadership role within our organization.

  • The candidate should be certified from AAPC or AHIMA, with strong leadership capabilities, client handling experience, and a deep understanding of the healthcare and medical coding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the daily operations of the coding unit, including workload and staffing; hiring, disciplining, and performance appraisals; training; and monitoring quality of work.
  • Develops long-range and short-term goals, objectives, plans, and programs, ensuring their implementation.
  • Evaluates the impact of innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures for the coding unit.
  • Designs and implements systems and methods to improve data accessibility, identifying, assessing, and resolving problems.
  • Prepares administrative reports and oversees the coding compliance program, developing educational and training programs regarding coding documentation and accuracy.
  • Ensures the dissemination and communication of regulatory, policy, and guideline changes.
  • Conducts and oversees coding audit efforts, coordinating monitoring of coding accuracy and documentation adequacy.
Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Any Graduate (preferably from a Life Science background)

Experience: 17+ years of experience in Multispecialty Coding and substantial team management experience.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong managerial, leadership, analytical, interpersonal skills and Outstanding organizational skills.

Hands-on experience in generating reports using MS Office - Excel, Word, and MS PowerPoint.
