Open Position - Assistant Manage / Deputy Manager - Facility Denial Coding

Job Location - Hyderabad

Notice Period - Looking for Immediate Joiner / 30 Days / 60 days

Qualification - Any Graduate

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of denial coding specialists.
  • Provide ongoing training and education to the team on coding updates, denial trends, and best practices.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of investigating and appealing denied claims related to coding errors, medical necessity, or documentation issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis on denial patterns and trends to identify systemic issues and areas for process improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to reduce denial rates and improve clean claim submissions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on coding and denial management for various departments.
  • Present denial trend reports and performance metrics to leadership to highlight successes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all coding and denial management activities comply with official coding guidelines and federal and state regulations (e.g., CMS, HIPAA).

Stay current with changes in coding guidelines, payer policies, and industry regulations

Experince

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical coding, billing, and denial management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Proficiency with various Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, coding software, and revenue cycle management (RCM) tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile

  • on Paper Assistant Manager preferrable
  • Certifications desired CPC/CCS mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare industry is desired.
  • Good knowledge of client-specific process rules and regulatory requirements
  • Graduate or postgraduate is mandatory.
