Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer with extensive experience in IT services and consulting to provide expert legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, master service agreements, statement of work, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • Offer strategic advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory issues.
  • Support business teams in client negotiations and enable seamless deal closures.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Manage legal risks and proactively offer strategic advice to leadership.
  • Liaise with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
  • Support in drafting policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations.
  • Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on compliance and legal best practices.

Requirements:

  • LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership in a Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is a plus.
