Senior Corporate Tax Professional

This position involves leading corporate tax compliance operations for UAE-based clients. The role requires managing monthly and annual UAE corporate tax computations for multiple entities, reviewing tax workings, and ensuring reconciliation with financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly and annual UAE corporate tax computations for multiple entities, including tax computation, implementation of UAE tax laws, and coordination with client-side finance teams.
  • Review tax workings to ensure accurate and complete tax submissions within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax law, including DTAA provisions and international transaction treatment, as well as handle computation of Deferred Tax Assets (DTA) and Deferred Tax Liabilities (DTL) as per IFRS/GAAP.
  • Coordinate with client finance teams for data, clarifications, and alignment on tax positions, participate in scheduled calls to present deliverables, and address follow-ups, documentation queries, and support in tax authority communication.
  • Interpret and implement updates in UAE Corporate Tax law across client engagements, update working templates and SOPs to reflect regulatory changes, drive standardization and efficiency across compliance processes, maintain trackers for deliverables, deadlines, and client-specific workflows, and prepare internal and external reports on tax compliance status and key metrics.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals handling UAE compliance delivery, review outputs for technical accuracy and completeness, conduct periodic training sessions to ensure the team is updated on compliance and regulatory developments, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax, preferably with a background in Big 4 / Tier-1 consulting firms.
  • Strong experience in tax compliance, preferably including UAE Corporate Tax, with a solid understanding of tax compliances, DTAA provisions, international taxation principles, deferred tax computation (DTA/DTL), and IFRS/GAAP for tax accounting.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, proven ability to manage teams, processes, and deadlines effectively, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
