Lead Tax Professional

This is a senior leadership position that requires strategic planning and execution of tax reporting initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risk.
  • Leverage technical expertise to drive accurate and compliant tax reporting for annuity transactions.
  • Manage the tax treatment of death benefits and beneficiary payouts to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Drive process improvements and support audits to ensure tax efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in tax reporting or financial operations, preferably in the insurance or annuity sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and ability to apply them effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills in a regulated environment, with experience in motivating and guiding teams.
  • CPA certification is preferred, but proficiency in Excel and tax systems is mandatory.
