Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking an accomplished financial leader to drive strategic and operational leadership of finance functions for banquet and catering businesses.
The ideal candidate will oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, management information systems (MIS) reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls;
- Reviewing and analyzing profit and loss statements, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects;
- Ensuring statutory compliance with goods and services tax (GST), tax deducted at source (TDS), income tax, and other regulations; coordinating with auditors and tax authorities;
- Implementing financial best practices, controls, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems tailored to banqueting/catering;
- Partnering with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses;
- Supporting leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations;
- Mentoring and supervising the finance team; driving a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity;
- Managing vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners;
- Conducting variance analysis, highlighting cost-saving opportunities, and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Certified accountant/master of business administration (finance) or equivalent, with experience in hospitality/banqueting/catering;
- Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role;
- Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls;
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems;
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills;
- High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
