Procurement Specialist Role
">As a procurement specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring and procuring goods and services from suppliers. This involves identifying supplier opportunities, evaluating their capabilities, and negotiating the best possible prices.
Key Responsibilities:">- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing and reliable delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, and track deliveries in accordance with project timelines.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and monitor their performance to ensure quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, production, and finance to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) or related field.
- 2-4 years of procurement experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector, preferably in Jaipur, India.
- In-depth knowledge of steel, aluminum, and machinery components.
- Experience working with local and international vendors.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
