Operational Excellence Specialist

About the Role

The Operational Excellence Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements and enhancing operational effectiveness across global manufacturing sites and processes.

This position requires collaboration with site leadership teams and operational excellence directors to develop and lead performance transformations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The specialist will be measured annually on their ability to enhance this culture and drive operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing cost-saving projects through operational efficiencies
  • Establishing policies and standards for group manufacturing excellence
  • Creating an OEE program to track and eliminate lost production causes
  • Conducting diagnostics to identify areas for improvement
  • Leading value stream mapping exercises to define processes and implement lean tools and techniques

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline
  • At least 5-8 years' experience in project management, operational excellence, or consulting
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma and project management skills
