Travel Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a skilled travel professional to serve as a liaison between our organization and its current and potential customers.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of effectively catering to the travel requirements of clients, with a focus on enhancing satisfaction and acquiring an expanding and dedicated clientele through unparalleled customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings for domestic and international flights, rail, and other travel arrangements.
  • Provide information on products and services, including visa requirements, foreign exchange, health regulations, and insurance options.
  • Handle refunds and cancellations of domestic and international air tickets.
  • Coordinate ticket issuance with proper deal codes and bonus miles.
  • Follow established communication protocols when handling different topics.
  • Collaborate with clients, implant teams, and servicing teams.
  • Assist in follow-up with invoicing and recoveries.
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions and alternatives.
  • Become familiar with relevant information, brochures, and publications to enhance the traveler's experience.

Competencies:

  • Effective communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems (CRS), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and e-traveling platforms.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Passionate interest in geography and strong knowledge of domestic and international travel.
  • Ability to assimilate information and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a Diploma in Travel and Tourism preferred.

Experience: A total of 3-5 years of relevant experience working with a travel company is required.
