Sr. Project Owner- Security Officer

Position Overview:
  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Location: Remote
  • Shift: 6pm-3am(IST)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Preferred: BTech- Engineering background only)
About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Owner- Security Officer to lead our security strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Security Program Development: Lead the implementation of security controls, procedures, and protocols across the organization.
  2. Compliance Management: Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and others as applicable.
  3. Auditing & Follow-Up: Conduct internal reviews of security practices, identify gaps or vulnerabilities, and ensure timely remediation.
  4. Policies & Procedures: Review, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to maintain a robust security posture.
  5. Client Liaison: Meet with prospective and current clients to explain our security protocols, address concerns, and support compliance-related inquiries.
  6. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and recommend practical solutions to mitigate threats.
  7. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive records of security activities, compliance status, and improvement initiatives.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements to the organization's security framework and practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in information security, compliance, or risk management.
  • Expertise: Strong background in implementing and managing security programs aligned with global standards.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Experience communicating technical security concepts to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
