Assistant General Manager, India Markets


Job Description:

As the Assistant General Manager – India Markets, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion in the Indian pharmaceutical market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management, preferably with a specialization in pharmaceutical sciences. A proven track record of success in sales, marketing, and business development is essential for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing market entry and growth strategies for India
  • Expanding distribution networks and strategic alliances
  • Leading business development for APIs, PFIs, and Finished Dosages
  • Driving market intelligence, customer engagement, and deal closures
  • Building and leading a high-performing team

A successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team. Strong experience in the Indian pharma market, as well as expertise in B2B Pharma (APIs and Formulations) and regulatory understanding, are highly desirable.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Business Management: With a strong background in business management, the ideal candidate should have a specialization in pharmaceutical sciences.

Leadership: The candidate must be an effective leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Regulatory Understanding: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the Indian pharmaceutical market is necessary.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the Indian pharmaceutical market, preferably in a similar role.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.

Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are necessary for this role.
