About this role

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing and a proven track record of ensuring software products meet the highest quality standards.

The primary goal of this role is to systematically test and validate the functionality of software products, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test software products to ensure they meet desired quality standards.
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards.
  • Analyze and report defects, providing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a Manual Tester with a proven track record.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
  • Ability to document errors meticulously and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Onboarding Process:

First Month: You will undergo training on solutions, gaining a deep understanding of the major products we work with. During this time, you will become familiar with the products and its requirements, setting up the testing environment, learning the team's processes and tools, and execute existing test suites.

First 3 Months: You will be assigned to a vertical within the team and start working with the Lead. Start creating or updating test cases based on the product requirements and acceptance criteria. Focus on both functional and non-functional testing aspects.

First 6 Months: By this time you will be fully involved in the requirement discussions along with developers and Product managers. You will be solely responsible for conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and ensuring that software products meet the desired quality standards.
