Job Title: Assistant Professor in Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor in Operations to join our faculty at Somaiya Vidyavihar University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our MBA programmes, as well as conducting research and contributing to the development of our academic programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and mentoring students in our MBA programmes, including designing and delivering courses, assessing student performance, and providing feedback.
  • Conducting research and publishing papers in reputable academic journals, as well as presenting research findings at conferences.
  • Contributing to the development of our academic programmes, including curriculum design, programme evaluation, and accreditation.
  • Participating in departmental and institutional committees, as well as contributing to the development of university policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • PhD or NET/SET in Operations Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a university or college setting.
  • Strong research and publication record, including papers in reputable academic journals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
