Job Description:

We are seeking a senior backend engineer to design, build and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

  • Design and implement secure, high-performance backend services and APIs
  • Implement server-side logic, databases and data storage solutions
  • Optimize database schemas, queries and indexes for efficiency
  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks; implement caching and load balancing
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Go or Rust programming languages
  • Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis
  • Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL API design
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of Git version control and branching strategies
