Job Title:

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

 

Job Description:

GrowExx seeks a skilled Senior Software Engineer-QA who has written and executed test cases on enterprise projects with comprehensive understanding of SDLC, STLC in Agile framework.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze system requirements end to end to develop test automation strategies for applications.

Create test automation frameworks using Cypress to meet required quality and NFR for given systems.

Implement tasks allocated during sprints, analyze user journeys, mind maps & process flows, and write test cases.

Identify unknowns, missing scenarios etc., and consult with PO to ensure defined as User Story or UAC.

Perform exploratory testing asking what if questions and applying to explore requirements, software, architecture etc.

Write automation test cases based on defined quality requirements and testing parameters for given systems.

Provide detailed estimates before start of sprints.

Work with teams to get estimates.

Review test cases/test scripts written by peers/team members.

Create technical documents as required for projects in Jira, Confluence or other tools.

Produce automated quality reports demonstrating all required quality metrics for given systems.

Define debug structure to identify causes for any issues and develop speedier resolution.

Define user acceptance criteria ideally using Gherkin scripts.

 

Required Skills And Qualifications:

Good knowledge of testing restful API-based micro services and/or ESB asynchronous message-based systems.

Experience with record and playback testing using automation tools (Cypress mandatory).

Good knowledge of blackbox and integration tests.

Good knowledge of Java/Cypress/Gherkin stack across multi-browser testing environment.

Can work with Zephyr and JIRA.

Experience in designing and running appropriate load tests (Locust/JMeter).

Good to have knowledge of security testing.

Exposure to Test Driven Development and BDD.

Knowledge of WCAG Level 2.
