Job Title: Security Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automation playbooks to streamline security operations.

This role involves working closely with our SOC teams to automate repetitive tasks such as phishing response, malware triage, account lockouts, and threat containment. You will also be responsible for integrating multiple security tools with SOAR platforms for automated incident handling.

The successful candidate will have strong scripting capabilities and hands-on experience in building security automation workflows. They will also be able to design and deploy custom integrations and APIs for automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation playbooks within SOAR platforms (XSIAM, QRadar, etc.).
  • Integrate multiple security tools with SOAR for automated incident handling.
  • Collaborate with SOC teams to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Create and maintain custom scripts to extend SOAR functionalities and integrate unsupported tools.
  • Work closely with analysts to understand manual workflows and translate them into automated playbooks.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Automation, or SOAR Engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise with SOAR platforms such as XSIAM, QRadar, or similar.
  • Experience with SIEM solutions (QRadar, XSIAM, Splunk, Chronicle, etc.).
  • Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with incident response processes and SOC operations.
