Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud-based SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and SaaS infrastructure with hands-on AWS experience. You should also have a strong command over containerization tools: Docker and Kubernetes, as well as proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end architecture of our cloud-based SaaS platform, leading the evolution of its infrastructure with scalability, performance, and security at the core, being hands-on with AWS, automating infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, ensuring high availability, and optimizing cloud usage and costs.

You will also be responsible for building and managing CI/CD pipelines, implementing best practices for automated testing, versioning, and secure delivery workflows, partnering with engineering, product, and design teams to translate product goals into robust, maintainable, and secure system designs.

In addition, you will lead and implement our security strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards, setting up monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery plans that ensure platform reliability and business continuity, mentoring engineers on architecture, DevOps, and modern development workflows, and helping instill a culture of automation, ownership, and quality.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential, as well as a willingness to work onsite and collaborate closely across product and engineering teams.

Required Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and SaaS infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Strong command over containerization tools: Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Solid experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release workflows
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, VPC design, IAM, and core security practices
  • Prior experience implementing monitoring, alerting, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound architectural decisions under time and scale constraints
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with cost optimization in AWS
  • Familiarity with SOC2, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance frameworks
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of serverless design patterns
  • Experience with observability platforms
  • Familiarity with incident management and SRE practices
  • Prior experience in startups or fast-paced product environments
