Job Overview

You will collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand business and technical requirements. You will design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions, including infrastructure, platform, and hybrid cloud models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and clients to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud models.
  • Develop detailed architectural diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical proposals for client bids and RFPs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on their cloud journey, including migration strategies, security best practices, and cost optimization.
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities to demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.
  • Prepare detailed solution documentation, competitive analyses, and pricing estimates using Azure calculators.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring all technical aspects are accurately and compellingly addressed.
  • Work closely with internal development, delivery, and product teams to ensure a seamless handover from sales to implementation.
  • Stay current with the latest cloud services, product updates, and industry trends.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of licensing structures and security models.
Required Skills & Qualifications

You should have:

  • Proven experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions architect, or cloud consulting role.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, security, storage, and databases).
  • Hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud costing principles and optimization strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end pre-sales process.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, cloud-native architectures, and migration strategies is a plus.
