Accountant Job Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Accountant to fill a key position in our Central Accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Timely processing of journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
  2. Reconciling balance sheets with minimal open items and regular follow-up to close any discrepancies
  3. Cross-training on tasks/activities with other team members to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing
  4. Updating and creating process documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency

Additional Accountant duties include:

  1. Recording and reconciling intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  2. Coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation
  3. Supporting audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for intercompany transactions

Requirements for this Accountant role include:

  • Sound accounting knowledge and understanding of debits and credits
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with relevant work experience in accounting
  • Experience in performing balance sheet reconciliations

Prefereably we are looking for candidates with experience using Oracle/SAP or similar systems, as well as exposure to shared services or centralized accounting functions.
