Job Title: Portfolio Manager Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling margin calls and monitoring short-term liquidity of funds to analyze causes for change in liquidity.
  • Understanding margining methodologies and tracking internal margin views.
  • Implementing end-to-end margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information.
  • Onboarding new clients, gathering requirements, and showcasing capabilities.
  • Managing stakeholders' expectations by identifying needs, articulating scope, escalating issues, and bringing about changes.
  • Enhancing knowledge on the Client platform and industry.
  • Performing data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, transformation, loading, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Collaborating with technology teams on special projects, developing reports, and implementing products.
  • Overseeing Treasury and Cash Management operations to ensure optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  • Managing Collateral and Liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.
  • Monitoring and responding to Margin Calls in a timely manner.
  • Supporting and coordinating Securities Lending transactions to maximize asset utilization.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Treasury with finance knowledge.
  • Expertise in collateral management and financing agreements.
  • Experience in securities lending and portfolio financing optimization.
  • Familiarity with Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit, and other data sources for Treasury attributes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Understanding of Margin Calls and Security Lending.
  • Treasury/Cash Management and Collateral/Liquidity Management knowledge.
  • A proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and take on additional tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python is desirable.
