Key Role: Director of Placement.

A prominent educational institution in the NCR Region is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Director of Placement. This leadership position plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing multiple campus recruitment initiatives, fostering strong industry connections, and ensuring seamless student placements.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of corporate placement strategies, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to effectively network with various stakeholders. They will be responsible for preparing students for placements, identifying internship opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of placement data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR consultants
  • Developing and implementing strategic placement plans to meet university goals
  • Coordinating with academic departments to identify internship opportunities and facilitate student placements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of placement data
  • Providing regular progress reports to university administrators

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field

Desirable:

Postgraduate degree in management, human resources, business administration, or a related field

Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in placement processes, such as applicant tracking systems and HR software

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in corporate placements in the NCR Region

Strong industry connections and networking skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities
