About the Role

As a creative storyteller, you will transform ideas into powerful narratives for various content platforms. Your expertise in writing compelling scripts will be essential in developing brand films, testimonials, and educational content that resonate with diverse audiences.

Candidates with experience in creative agencies or directing branded content will find this role appealing. You will work closely with content strategists and producers to turn ideas into emotionally resonant stories, while also polishing and rewriting scripts drafted by internal teams to align them with storytelling best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write engaging scripts for reels, testimonials, brand videos, motion explainers, interviews, and campus documents
  • Collaborate with content strategists and producers to develop narrative concepts
  • Polish and rewrite scripts to ensure pacing, flow, tone, and messaging align with audience and platform requirements
  • Participate in directional planning, blocking, and shoot scripting when needed
  • Guide voice recordings, scene transitions, and editing cues through script structure
  • Develop story structures and creative templates for recurring formats

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience as a scriptwriter, copywriter, or screenwriter, preferably in creative agencies or branded content studios
  • Experience in Tech and EdTech domains is beneficial
  • Experience in video direction or co-directing campaigns is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of structure, emotional flow, narrative layering, and dialogue authenticity
  • Visual thinking skills, with words designed to move on screen
  • Ability to write for different platforms (YouTube, Reels, Docs, Social Ads) and audiences (students, parents, professionals)
  • Familiarity with regional stories and cultural nuance is advantageous
