Quality assurance is crucial in software development. A skilled Senior Quality Assurance Lead is needed to oversee quality efforts for a web domain project.

The ideal candidate will develop test strategies, plans, and processes for web applications, ensuring the overall quality of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for web applications.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance specialists, including mentoring and providing guidance.
  • Manage testing for web applications serving high-traffic and high-visibility client sites.
  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Oversee API and performance testing, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Manage the workload of the quality assurance team and provide support in resolving issues.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and technologies.
  • Manage complex quality assurance and test environment challenges and issues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software QA testing role.
  • Excellent analytical and logical skills to think through new applications and strategize testing.
  • Relevant work experience in manual testing of web applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated testing using Selenium or an alternate automation tool.
  • A good understanding of web and mobile-based projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse projects simultaneously.
  • Ideal candidates have experience with Linux environments.

Manual Testing, API Testing, Functional Testing, Web Testing, Mobile Testing, Comprehensive Testing Knowledge, Test Strategy and Planning, Automation Expertise, Web Technologies, API and Performance Testing, Database and Backend Testing, Version Control and CI/CD, Leadership and Project Management, Tool Selection and Optimization.
