Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software quality assurance principles and be able to apply them in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role will play a key part in testing, validating, and automating test cases to guarantee software correctness and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Perform manual testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure software quality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, issues, and improvements using issue tracking tools like Jira.
  • Conduct regression, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
  • Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in performance and load testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments and API testing.
