Infrastructure Optimization Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of Infrastructure Optimization Specialist. This critical position involves collaborating with our engineering team to design and implement robust cloud infrastructure, efficient monitoring systems, and high availability focused mitigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing software solutions for managing platform infrastructure and applications
  • Ensuring production environment stability by monitoring availability and analyzing system health
  • Developing and executing strategies to optimize system performance and advance capabilities
  • Enhancing reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions
  • Providing primary operational support and engineering for large-scale distributed software applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in the software industry, with at least 4 years in an SRE role
  • Ability to design cloud infrastructure on AWS for high availability, scalability, resilience, reliability, and performance
  • Proficiency in automating infrastructure deployment using Terraform
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and JavaScript
  • Experience with container management technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Yarn, ECS, EKS
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and visualization tools like Prometheus, Grafana
  • AWS certification in SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect
  • Proactive approach to identifying problems and performance bottlenecks
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
