Cloud Solutions Architect

A visionary Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

  • Develops cloud architectures that meet business requirements and ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and translates them into robust AWS solutions
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution
  • Maintains compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies by implementing security measures and ensuring data integrity
  • Optimizes AWS costs without compromising performance or security through strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Responds to systems alerts, investigates system failures, and recovers/restores failed systems and applications

To achieve these objectives, we require a seasoned IT professional with:

  • 7-9 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible Tower, and AWS CloudFormation
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization
  • Process and technical documentation skills
