Job Overview:

The Finance Controllership Team provides financial control and accounting support to globally. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality management reporting and controllership to the Business units within the Organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the FinCon team by preparing, developing, supervising, and analysing financial information within the segment.
  • Interact with various customers of the FinCon organization and the global finance team.
  • Focus on core accounting skills, working across different business divisions, entities, and regions to support the whole organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Produce key supporting schedules for significant costs with the areas supported.
  • Finding opportunities for a more robust control environment to mitigate key risks.
  • Assist in coordinating and reviewing financial documents, internal and external, of geography, function, division in a timely and accurate manner, and support analyses of material variances and may support with consolidation, balance sheets.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, CIMA degree or equivalent in Finance, with hands-on experience in IFRS-based accounting.
  • At least 4 years of prior experience in Big4 or MNC, preferably from the service industry.
  • Experience of working with systems, SAP, Oracle, Pyramid, an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly and concisely interact with personnel at all management levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, and drive positive change.
