Thank you for visiting our careers page The Onit family is growing and we have open roles within all of our business entities Please make sure you review the postings and find your next role to expand your career Onit SimpleLegal AXDRAFT Bodhala BusyLamp SecureDocs Senior Accountant Remote Full Time Experienced About Onit Onit is a global leader in enterprise workflow solutions for legal compliance sales IT HR and finance departments With Onit companies can transform best practices into smarter workflows better processes and operational efficiencies Onit focuses on enterprise legal management matter management spend management contract lifecycle management and legal holds transforming how global Fortune 500 companies and corporate legal departments bridge the gap between systems of record and systems of engagement Position Summary The Senior Accountant will possess a deep understanding of general accounting functions Procure-To-Pay cycle cash application month-end close and audit working papers as well as experience managing offshore teams This position requires expertise in financial reporting strong leadership and mentoring abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy ensuring compliance with GAAP and streamlining processes across departments Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting including preparing journal entries performing reconciliations and conducting variance analysis Manage the monthly and annual financial close procedures ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with established deadlines Review and analyze financial statements to ensure they are accurate complete and compliant with GAAP and company policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Assist in preparing audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance Manage and optimize accounting systems and workflows including assisting in projects related to system implementations and upgrades Ensure adherence to internal controls and other regulatory standards Provide mentorship and training to staff accountants and offshore teams including managing and coordinating tasks for the offshore team in India fostering growth and development Develop and improve accounting policies procedures and best practices ensuring consistent quality and compliance Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred CPA certification preferred but not required 5 years of experience in accounting preferably in a SaaS and technology environment Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us Competitive salary and benefits package Career growth opportunities within a dynamic and expanding organization Collaborative and inclusive company culture Flexible work arrangements If you are a dedicated accounting professional with a passion for financial accuracy and excellence we invite you to apply and become a part of our team Apply Apply for this position Required Apply with Indeed First Name Last Name Email Address Phone Address Resume We
