Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing monthly and quarterly closings, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily tasks also include overseeing tax preparation and filing, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with other departments to support budgeting and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial statement preparation and account reconciliation
- Strong understanding of tax preparation, filing, and compliance
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role is advantageous
