Stripe Implementation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Stripe Developer to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our Stripe platform. This hybrid role combines engineering expertise with administrative ownership.

This role requires someone who has successfully delivered a full Stripe implementation and can act as the subject-matter expert for all payment-related systems and operations.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our teams to ensure seamless integration of Stripe modules, including Payments, Billing, Connect, and Subscriptions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end implementation of Stripe modules
  • Configure workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds
  • Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems
  • Ensure compliance with PCI, GDPR, KYC, and other regulatory requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules, as well as experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one Stripe implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules
  • Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks
  • Solid understanding of payment process flows, reconciliation, and dispute management
