Job Title: Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PLC programming, including Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagrams (FBD). Proficiency in PID programming, loop tuning, and communication protocols such as Modbus, CC-Link, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless, and IoT is essential.

Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with MQTT protocol and have worked with platforms like Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Schneider.

2. Instrumentation & Electrical Knowledge:

A strong understanding of thermocouples, pressure, and level transmitters/switches is crucial. The candidate should also be familiar with proximity sensors, modulating valves, instrumentation & control earthing, power earthing, and safety systems (SIL, interlocks).

3. Site & Field Experience:

Experience in site commissioning, panel wiring, termination, and physical work during setup is necessary. A willingness to work on multi-site execution projects is also required.

4. Project & Managerial Capability:

The ideal candidate should have experience managing teams/technicians, working on industrial automation projects, vendor coordination, procurement knowledge, and ownership of project deliverables.

5. Documentation & Communication:

A good understanding of functional design specifications (FDS), IO documentation, wiring diagrams, control panel layout, GA review, reporting, email, and team communication is required.
